Robert E. Danielson, Esq.

Mr. Danielson was first admitted to practice law in 1983 in New York. After practicing with large law firms in both New York and Massachusetts, Mr. Danielson began practicing in Maine as principal of his own law firm in 1994. He focuses on small business organizational and succession planning – including conveyancing,  corporate law, contracts, commercial finance, probate, wills, as well as trusts and estate administration. Additionally Mr. Danielson has extensive experience in real estate, land use, title, leasing and zoning law and has served as an expert witness in title matters.

Mr. Danielson graduated from Boston College, cum laude, in 1980, and received his juris doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, New York, New York in 1983.

Mr. Danielson serves as a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council, the Maine Title Bar, the Mercy Hospital Planned Giving Committee and as a director and Board Chairman of the Catholic Foundation of Maine. He has served as President of the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust, President of the Maine Philanthropy Center, and he is a Rotarian. He is a member in good standing of the New York, Massachusetts and Maine State Bars.

Mr. Danielson is also a principal and President of Old Port Title, an independent title company serving commercial and residential clients throughout Maine. Mr. Danielson frequently lectures on issues of Estate Planning, Land Use and Real Estate.
